  • Even if you forced all hospital staff to give blood you are only supposed to give every 56 days to be safe. Plus, you would not want the staff to feel faint because they gave blood during an emergency. I would favor freezing more blood to extend the shelf life.

  • Why don't more blood banks freeze blood to make it last longer? It might cost more but it would help with shortages. I know they freeze rare blood types maybe it can be done with the common kinds.

  • Actually, it might not make a hospital. A hospital would have to be fully accessible under the Americans with Disability act, have adequate parking, have rooms large enough to accommodate patients with the equipment, and would have to have steel beam construction.

  • That's right, and I will get people yelling at me for this but people need to STOP BREEDING! Everywhere on TV there is another large family show. Young people I work with are having babies. Perhaps the best use of petroleum is rubber for condoms and chemicals for birth control pills!

  • Thank you! UAW make me sick you are about the only one who thinks that maybe these people can take some responsibility. Make sure your family is complete. Take action such as birth control to not make your family bigger than it already is. Plan ahead in case something happens to your job.

  • Sounds like he did everything he was told but did not use his brain. 4 kids is too many for today. With 7 billion people we will not die out. Besides he doesn't sound like a plan ahead person not thinking he might not make so much money all the time to be able to afford 4 kids.
